Table 2 Patient selection criteria

Inclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria

- Experienced a first-ever cerebrovascular accident, a intracerebal or a subarachnoid haemorrhage

- Patients with no motor function in the affected upper limb

 

- Patients with apraxia

- Minimal motor function in the affected upper limb

- Patients with global aphasia

- Older than 18 years

- Patients with a pre-existing limiting injury of the affected and non-affected upper limb

- Written informed consent

- Patients with additional neurological diseases
