LOS represents a patient’s length of stay in the NICU, BWEIGHT represents a patient’s birth weight in grams, GESTAGE denotes a patient’s gestational age in weeks, SNAPDOL1 represents a patient’s SNAPPE score recorded after 1 day spent in the NICU, SNAPDOL3 represents a patient’s SNAPPE score recorded after 3 days spent in the NICU, MAIN1 represents a patient’s MAIN score recorded after 1 day spent in the NICU and MAIN7 represents a patients MAIN score recorded after 7 days spent in the NICU. The smaller the SNAPPE and MAIN scores, the physiologically healthier the child.
