Acute stroke care set-up scenario’s. Current organisational models for acute stroke care in the Northern part of the Netherlands. Within the centralised model thrombolysis is only given in the University Medical Centre Groningen acting as a stroke centre. Arrangements were made with surrounding community hospitals (grey circles) to transport suspected acute stroke patients directly to the stroke centre.
