Successful Aging after Elective Surgery (SAGES) is grouped as the total cohort sample, the group who did not have delirium (Delirium-) and the group who developed delirium (Delirium+). Body mass index is calculated from self-reported height and weight. Visual impairment = < 20/70 corrected binocular vision. GCP = general cognitive performance; 3MS = Modified Mini Mental State Examination; IQCODE = Informant Questionnaire on Cognitive Decline in the Elderly; ADL = Activities of Daily Living; IADL = Instrumental Activities of Daily Living
