Mechanism (M) | The process of how the participant interprets and acts upon the intervention stratagem. How any one of the components of a team intervention brings about change. How the resources on offer permeate into the reasoning of team participants. |
Outcome (O) | The intended and un-intended consequences of team interventions. Because of the variation in context and mechanisms, there are likely to be different outcomes from teamwork. |
